Job Responsibilities : Schedule Crude/Product shipment from source to destination Put shipping requirement to chartering in time.
Ensure best utilization of Time Chartered vessels.
Raise and receive claims from supplier or shipping company for any shortage, quality issue.
Work closely with the shipping companies to resolve supply issues.
Implementation of Contracts (Purchase / Sales/ Traded).
Pre-shipment: Scrutiny of contracts, nomination of dates / quantity for cargo and nomination of vessel, preparation activities (payment security, documentation, insurance, survey/ agency appointment.
Post-shipment: Scrutiny and circulation of relevant documents, survey, payment coordination and claims coordination.
Implementation of Carriage Contracts (charter parties).
Issuing of voyage instructions, nomination of shipping agents, tracking of vessel positions, coverage by P&I, appointment of inspectors for ROB survey, issuing LoI to vessel owners, calculation of BTA (balance time available), coordination with planning / terminal for berthing of vessel, coordination for claims (demurrage, dead freight, cargo shortage, ROB disputes).
Scheduling Crude/Product.
Nomination of loading dates, as per desired arrival program from planning based on contractual terms & freight optimization, finalization of the loading program, circulate loading program for charter vessels on spot.
Update CSL, prepare 120 days# Crude/Product inventory report.
Scheduling exports of feedstock.
Nomination of loading dates, as per desired evacuation program from planning based on contractual terms & freight optimization, finalization of the loading program.
Prepare MIS for Demurrage, dead freight, Crude/Product arrivals/departures, ocean loss and TC vessel time and capacity utilization.
Time Charter Vessels: Ensure error-free implementation of time charter parties, schedule for optimal utilization of time charter vessels, MIS for time and capacity utilization.
Settlement of payment to various counterparties P&I club, surveyors and agents.
Freight scrolling & payments.
AWRP deviation cases to be processed.
Scrolling of all invoices, freight, inspection companies, agencies.
Education Requirement : Degree in engineering / science / operations / business management.
Experience Requirement : Overall experience of 6-8 years, preferably majority in trading operations3-5 years for Operator.
Preference for experience of working / interacting with supply planning or refinery for at least 6-8 years.
Skills & Competencies : Good understanding of shipping, operations and trading, ability to expedite claim resolution.
Familiarity with HSEQ guidelines and marine insurance.
Understands contract laws, logistics cost at different ports and ability to hire various logistics agencies at different ports.
