• Operate distillation columns, solvent recovery systems, and other equipment to produce high-quality chemical products.
  
• Monitor and control process parameters to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.
  
• Collaborate with production planning teams to optimize plant operations and improve efficiency.
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts as needed.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to batch processing, refinery operations, and manufacturing processes.
  

Operational Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations:
   
• Operate, monitor, and control distillation equipment such as columns, reboilers, condensers, pumps, and heat exchangers.
• Adjust parameters like pressure, temperature, and flow rates to maintain optimal performance.
2. Monitoring Systems:
   
• Use control systems (e.g., SCADA or PLC) to monitor plant operations and make necessary adjustments.
• Regularly check gauges, meters, and alarms to detect any anomalies.
3. Material Handling:
   
• Handle raw materials and feedstock for distillation processes.
• Ensure proper storage and transfer of solvents, chemicals, and finished products.
4. Process Optimization:
   
• Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and increase solvent recovery yields.
• Assist in implementing changes to improve product quality.

Maintenance Responsibilities

1. Routine Maintenance:
   
• Inspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Perform minor repairs and calibrate instruments when required.
2. Troubleshooting:
   
• Diagnose and resolve equipment or process-related issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Report major malfunctions to the maintenance team and management.
3. Record Keeping:
   
• Document maintenance activities and equipment performance for future reference.

Safety and Compliance Responsibilities

1. Safety Protocols:
   
• Follow all occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
• Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
2. Hazard Management:
   
• Identify and address potential hazards, such as chemical leaks or equipment failures.
• Conduct emergency shutdowns when necessary.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
   
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, particularly in solvent recovery and waste disposal.
• Maintain logs for inspections and audits by regulatory bodies.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

1. Product Quality:
   
• Monitor the quality of recovered solvents and manufactured thinners, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Collect and analyze samples at different stages of production.
2. Reporting:
   
• Maintain accurate production records, including yields, quality metrics, and incidents.
• Prepare reports for supervisors and management.

Team Collaboration Responsibilities

1. Training:
   
• Train and mentor junior operators on equipment usage, safety protocols, and plant operations.
2. Coordination:
   
• Work closely with maintenance teams, process engineers, and quality control teams to ensure seamless plant operation.
