Manager/Sr. Manager Procurement- Ulwe(Navi Mumbai)

Job Description:

Technical Expertise

• Prepare Construction Contracts for various work packages as gets defined for the project
• Review and scrutinize commercial proposals received from vendors / contractors to suit requirements of the project in close consultation with Infrastructure Design & Implementation Head and Construction Manager.
• Shall be well versed with legal documentation and have adequate knowledge of applicable laws and taxation requirements.
• Scrutinize bills certified by Site team / Construction Manager for compliance to executed contracts and flag any deviation, complete documentation required to close any such deviation in contract conditions commercially or otherwise.
• Shall take part or organize project meeting periodically or fortnightly with all stakeholder to ensure procurement, budget and project timeline on track.
• Ensure compliance to regulations as well as project commercial requirements

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate & communicate with the Construction Manager and other JI teams to develop various budgets and MIS as required by JI Management.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for obtaining expected billing schedules.
• Review Commercial proposals and get it approved from Construction Manager before proceeding for procurement.
• Manage and coordinate issuance of Purchase Orders & Work Orders.
• Coordinate with Project Team for commercial issues, tacking contractual deviation matters and for cost monitoring.

Reworks and Crisis Management

• Play key role in commercial and contractual coordination or any commercial issues that may raise during implementation in close coordination with team members and support from the Construction Manager.
• Play key role in commercial negotiations, contract documentation and issuances, amendments during contract implementation and Contractual closure during closeout in close coordination with team members and support from the Construction Manager.

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required:

• MBA in material management/ B.Tech/ CA from reputed University.
• Overall 15 to 20 years of experience with minimum 10 years in Commercial & Contractual Managerial roles in Commercial / Hospitality / institutional / residential works.
• Minimum 5 years related experience on project sites in Commercial Contracting (Desirable) or Consulting (PMC) roles
