Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of dispatch operations, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to client locations for on-site assembly. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing large-scale dispatch operations in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of logistics, client coordination, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Comprehensive Dispatch Operations Management:

• Plan, execute, and monitor dispatch schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products to client locations.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align dispatch timelines with manufacturing and assembly schedules.

2. Client Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure smooth product delivery and assembly readiness.
• Address and resolve client concerns related to dispatch and logistics promptly.

3. Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and manage the dispatch team, including coordinators, drivers, and support staff.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure efficiency and accountability across the team.

4. Logistics Optimization:

• Optimize routes, resources, and schedules to reduce costs while maintaining high service levels.
• Work closely with logistics providers to ensure seamless transportation and timely deliveries.

5. Inventory and Readiness:

• Coordinate with inventory and production teams to ensure product readiness before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records related to dispatch operations.

6. Technology and Systems Utilization:

• Leverage dispatch management systems, ERP software, and tracking tools for efficient operations.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

7. Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain comprehensive records of dispatch schedules, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmations.

8. Problem Solving and Crisis Management:

• Handle and resolve logistical challenges, delays, or issues in real time to minimize disruptions.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and maintain service levels.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in dispatch management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale dispatch operations.
• Proficiency in logistics software, dispatch management tools, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in supply chain or logistics management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
• Experience with delivering and coordinating product assembly at client sites.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational methodologies.
