Senior Engineer - Process Engineering

Refex Renewables has recently ventured into the Compressed Biogas (CBG) market exclusively as a developer. Our expansion into this sector involves a strategic approach, combining participation in government tenders and the acquisition of existing plants, While Refex is genuinely enthusiastic about contributing to the CBG market, we are constantly improving and evolving in our technical know-how and specialized expertise necessary for substantial growth in this industry.

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and refine biogas production processes using anaerobic digestion technology.

2. Optimize feedstock mix (e.g., pressmud, MSW, Napier grass, poultry litter) for maximum yield.

3. Evaluate and integrate advanced technologies like Membrane systems or thermal hydrolysis.

4. Collaborate with R&D teams to pilot innovative biogas solutions.

5. Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and environmental teams to ensure seamless plant operations.

6. Support tendering and project development activities by providing technical inputs.

7. Train plant personnel on process best practices and safety protocols.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biogas technology.

1. Achieve and maintain a target yield higher gas yield per ton of feedstock.
2. Design a Plant with lesser an operational uptime.
3. Reduce specific energy consumption by introducing optimum equipments
4. Implement best industrial process for enhancements of products

5. Achieve a 5-20 % reduction in operating costs through process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

Any Master Professional degree holder preferably •(Mechanical, Chemical, Energy Engineering, or a related field) with min 4 to 6 years in the compressed bio gas production industry

Use of basic handheld instruments and basic computer skills for navigating spreadsheets and entering production data is highly desirable
