Engineer - Production Engineering (Process)

Job Objective: This is mainly required to carry out Production Process Improvement Activities through Standard work Processes for various shop operations, Shop layouts, Production capacity Ramp- Up, New product development etc. This will be central support for all shop floors.

Key role & Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of Shop floor concepts and documents(SQDCM,DWM,5S,KAIZENS,POKA-YOKE,Quality systems in assembly,Lean Manufacturing,Assembly documents etc.)
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures mainly in Assembly.
• Collaborate with Design, manufacturing and Quality teams to improve workflow and layouts.
• Analyze, review & monitor the capacity of production and execute capacity ramp up considering equipments, machines, tooling's, jigs and fixtures requirement(Preferably Assembly Tools)
• Lead cost reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety & quality standards.
• Ability to apply Enineering and Scientific principles and disciplines like Problem analysis,Root cause Corrective Actions,Statistical Process Control,Process Validation and facilities layout etc.
• Exposure to CAD tools (AutoCAD,Solidworks)with statistical analysis softwares.
• Exposure in Digital Manufacturing Industry 4.0,digitazation of shop floor activities.
• Develop and Implement methods to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization
• Overseeing Installation and Commissioning of New Equipments.
• Prepare and present reports on process improvements and operational performance.
• Basic knowledge of product development,machine assembly process,Sheetmetal processing
• Experience in the common MS office tools
• Ability to work in collaborative team environment and be responsive to production needs.
