Role & responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions with team members.
Project Management and Delivery
Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Implement and refine agile methodologies to optimize team productivity and project outcomes. • Manage project risks, dependencies, and constraints, escalating issues when necessary.
•
Balance technical debt reduction with new feature development to maintain a healthy codebase. • Work with vendor IT teams to drive project roadmaps and ensuring on time delivery. Technical Leadership • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex issues.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to ensure cohesive system design across the platform. Stakeholder Management • Act as a key liaison between the engineering team and other departments (e.g., Product, Sales, WebOps, CRM etc. teams)
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of our systems.
• Work with vendor leadership to share the accurate project status
