Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our team in Mumbai. The ASM will be responsible for managing sales operations and achieving targets across the assigned region for top-tier brands including HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, and Lenovo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B or B2C sales, specifically with a proven track record in handling reputed IT/technology brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell products from leading brands such as HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, and Lenovo within the Mumbai region.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and end customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Team Management: Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Market Research & Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.
• Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring targets are met.
• Brand Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives in the region.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest features, trends, and competitive advantages of HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, and Lenovo products to effectively sell and position them to clients.
• Business Development: Identify new potential customers and business opportunities, expanding the customer base across the region.
• Training and Development: Provide regular training to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market intelligence.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 2-7 years of sales experience,
• Industry Experience: Strong experience in IT hardware sales, specifically working with brands like HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, or Lenovo.
• Sales Skills: Proven ability to drive sales and exceed targets, with a strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales dynamics in the technology sector.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing a team, driving team performance, and achieving sales goals.
• Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze sales data to make informed decisions.
• Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of IT products, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals, and the ability to effectively position these products to clients.
