Senior Business Analyst at A Fintech Unicorn

Responsibilities

• Model data to create reporting infrastructure and dashboards for business process management and data mining.
• Work closely with business/product teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Execute quantitative analysis that translates complex data into actionable insights.
• Drive data-driven decision-making through key stakeholders.
• Influence new business opportunities based on internal and external data.
• Lead the team to adopt innovative solutions for solving complex business problems.

Requirements

• Strong ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and collaborate on solutions.
• Ability to negotiate the scope of problems through business understanding.
• A passion for business and a persistence to work with data to derive meaningful insights.
• Experience in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
• Skilled in finding innovative solutions to mitigate dependencies and risks for deliverables.
• Ability to independently plan and execute project deliveries.
• Expertise in SQL, Excel, and other scripting languages (e.g., R, Python).
• Strong background in statistical modeling and experience with statistical tools like R, Python, Spark, SAS, or SPSS.
• Good to have: Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Data Studio, etc.
