Senior DevOps Engineer at A Fintech Unicorn

Responsibilities

• Monitor systems for CPU/IO/Network bottlenecks and perform DB admin tasks as needed.
• Perform DevOps activities to support release cycles and production operations.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps teams, and the Senior DevOps manager for efficient operations.
• Respond to production incidents, driving them to completion and performing root cause analysis.
• Engage in Security Operations, triaging vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Automate processes and develop tools to continuously improve operations.
• Monitor metrics and enhance CI/CD tools for better team performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong computer science background with scripting and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Shell, Python, and Java.
• Expertise in Linux environments, networking, and DB monitoring/debugging.
• Familiar with CICD tools and Log aggregation/monitoring for production systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management and cross-functional teams.
