Software Engineer III at A Fintech Unicorn

Responsibilities

• This role offers the opportunity to design and develop software that meets and exceeds customer and company needs.
• Collaborate with team members to develop best practices and align with client requirements.
• Maintain code quality, adhere to best practices, and implement updates to address concerns.
• Analyze and test programs/products before launch to ensure flawless performance.
• Review design and code, providing technical solutions for complex requirements.
• Troubleshoot coding issues efficiently, growing your skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously seek ways to improve software effectiveness.
• Support the coaching and training of team members to ensure confidence in using software applications.

Requirements

• Have programming experience preferably in the Finance/ retail / ecommerce industry.
• Python knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Experience working in Agile Methodology.
• Experience using CI/CD, tools for logging, and metrics.
• A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize systems and tools.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to information retrieval, statistics, and machine learning.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
