Job Summary:

The Production Head Nitrile Gloves Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire production process of nitrile gloves while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role involves managing production planning, process improvements, cost control, workforce management, and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Management:

• Oversee end-to-end production of nitrile gloves, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing.
• Develop and implement production schedules, capacity planning, and workflow optimization to meet demand.
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor raw material usage (NBR latex, accelerators, pigments, etc.) and optimize consumption.

2. Process Optimization & Efficiency:

• Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques to enhance productivity.
• Identify and mitigate bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies in production.
• Leverage automation and advanced technologies to improve manufacturing speed and quality.
• Ensure minimal downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance of production lines.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure production processes meet ISO 13485, FDA, CE, ASTM D6319, EN 455/374, and other global quality standards.
• Work closely with the QA/QC teams to maintain product consistency, durability, and safety.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for any quality deviations.
• Prepare for and manage internal and external audits, inspections, and certifications.

4. Workforce Management & Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians, ensuring high performance and motivation.
• Train and develop staff on best manufacturing practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety, PPE compliance, and labor laws.

5. Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Optimize operational costs, reduce wastage, and control expenses while maintaining quality.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, yield rates, and efficiency metrics.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving without compromising on quality or safety.

6. R&D and New Product Development Support:

• Collaborate with R&D teams to test and scale up new formulations, coatings, and glove types.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and market demands to enhance product offerings.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 10+ years in nitrile glove manufacturing or medical/PPE product manufacturing with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of dipping processes, chemical compounding, vulcanization, and latex/NBR formulations.
• Experience with high-speed production lines, automation, and robotic integration.
• Familiarity with quality control systems, regulatory compliance, and certification requirements.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and drive operational excellence.
• Certifications (Preferred): Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001/13485, GMP, or any relevant industry certifications.
