What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable function at Razorpay, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, supervising the AP team.
Timely closure of Statutory and Internal Audits for areas handled.
Knowledge of GST/TDS deduction on vendor invoices and related compliances
To work closely with various internal stakeholders and business partners.
Building an understanding and preparation of SOP s.
Should be able to close the month end activities within the timelines prescribed.
Explore automation in all the areas worked, provide insights through Power-BI dashboards.
Understand the unit economics of the business, drive cost optimisation and provide meaningful insights.
Understanding of cost center and profit center accounting and allocations of cost.
Review of monthly P&L - review decks, strong variance analysis capabilities.
Desired Skills and Experience
Problem solving attitude with analytical bent of mind.
Effective communication & stakeholder engagement.
Experience in managing and working in a team.
Proficient in working on tier 1 ERP tool. SAP experience preferred.
Candidates with experience in controllership function will be preferred.
MBA in Finance or equivalent with 6+ years of experience working with Companies.
Accounts payable and fintech experience is a plus.
