Job Description
- Government Liasioning:
- Act as the primary point of contact between Rays Power Infra and various government bodies at the central, state, and local levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policymakers.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and hearings related to renewable energy policies and regulations.
- Statutory Approvals:
- Ensure timely acquisition of all necessary approvals, licenses, and permits for project development and operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit required documents and applications to regulatory authorities.
- Commissioning Support:
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to oversee the commissioning process of wind and solar projects.
- Address any regulatory or compliance issues during the commissioning phase.
- Policy Analysis and Advocacy:
- Stay updated on the latest policies, laws, and regulations affecting the renewable energy sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on regulatory compliance strategies and advocacy efforts.
- Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively across India or abroad to engage with government stakeholders and oversee project activities.
- Bachelors degree in Law, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (3-7 years) in government liaisoning, regulatory affairs, or public policy roles within the renewable energy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of renewable energy policies, regulations, and permitting processes in India.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build consensus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
