Exploring the role 
The Partner - Procurement will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and expertise in supply chain management, vendor relations, and procurement practices. As a Partner - Procurement, you will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support business objectives and drive sustainable procurement solutions.
How your day will look like/Job responsibility 

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business goals.
• Analyze market trends and provide recommendations on sourcing strategies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in the procurement process.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans as necessary.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and order tracking.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely solutions.

Education & Work Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

Knowledge

• Familiarity with industry-specific procurement processes (e.g., manufacturing, IT, healthcare).
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SAP Analytics).

Skills

• Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
• Monitor contract compliance and address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all contracts and procurement activities.
• Analyse market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or service levels.
• Prepare and present cost analysis reports to management.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Attitude

• Problem-solving ability is the capacity to tackle complex or challenging situations. 
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing internal and external stakeholders.
