• Position: Sr. Buyer / Buyer - C&P (Contracts & Procurement)
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech. Engineering OR Technical background OR Diploma
• Experience Level : 8+ Years
• Job Location : Nigeria

Job Description:

1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
2. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
3. Develop sourcing strategies to optimize cost savings, quality, and delivery timelines.
4. Prepare and issue RFPs, RFQs (Request for Quotations), and other procurement documents.
5. Evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and recommend selections based on predefined criteria.
6. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
7. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout the procurement process.
8. Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and negotiation.
9. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information.
10. Facilitate communication and coordination between departments to ensure procurement objectives are met.

Soft Skill:

1. Positive approach, motivational skills.
2. Good understand of technical specifications.
3. Send enquiries to prospective/qualified Contractors and get offers,
4. Liaison with Project team/user for technical evaluation
5. After technical closure, commercial evaluation of offers, Negotiations, ordering, follow up for Job completion on daily basis.
6. Resolution of any dispute in-between internal or External stakeholders.
7. Contract/Service order monitoring and closure.

Working Terms:

• Time off Rotation will be 6 Month working and 21 Days paid off (If you are deputed at Site then Rotation will be 6 month working and 30 days Paid off) & subsequently followed by every 6 month ones (Both to and from International & Domestic travel tickets provided by company.
• Work days & Hours Six and half days work, (Monday to Friday – 8:30AM to 6:30PM / Saturday – 9:00AM to 6:30PM / Sunday – 9:00AM to 2:30PM)
• Natural Oilfield Services Limited is a group of company, As per the Nigeria labour law, we have a limited quota for expats. As we are a multi companies group we have a limited expat quota available on each company, basis that where ever the quota is available basis that we issue the appointment letter to the candidate on behalf of that company.
• First salary will be released after 60 Days followed by the salary cycle ( Ex: If you joined in April you will get first month salary on June then after that every month you will get regularly)
