General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Reception Desk Management:

• Oversee the efficient and smooth operation of the reception desk.
• Ensure that all guest/student inquiries and concerns are handled promptly and effectively.
• Train and manage reception staff to maintain high standards of customer service.

Guest Onboarding:

• Manage the student onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
• Address any student issues or special requests in a timely and professional manner.

Resource Management:

• Allocate and manage resources efficiently across departments to maximize productivity.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of supplies and equipment.

Security and Services:

• Ensure the security of student and staff by implementing and monitoring safety protocols.
• Oversee the delivery of all hostel services to ensure they meet quality standards.

Accounting:

• Oversee the hostels financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Housekeeping:

• Supervise housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of student rooms and public areas.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Food & Beverages:

• Manage the food and beverage operations, ensuring high quality and efficient service.
• Work with the culinary team to develop and maintain an appealing menu.

Logistics Management:

• Coordinate logistical operations, including the management of supplies and equipment.

Oversee student transportation and delivery services to ensure timely and efficient operations.

­ Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
• Expertise in security, services, accounting, housekeeping, food & beverages, and logistics management.
• Strong resource management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• candidate will be required to live on campus 24/7 to provide consistent and reliable support
