Principal Engineer - Architect/Lead

Skills Required:

Hands-On experience on

• Microservices, RESTful webservices and Opensource development,
• CI/CD/CT Tools
• Cloud Native Architecture
• Microservice Architecture, and related stacks (Service Registry, ELK / Splunk, service registry, VMs, etc. ) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc. ).
• Should have played the role of a Technical Architect/Lead, preferably in retail / ecommerce, Java, Node, React/Angular, Java script frameworks, Spring-Boot, REST, Kafka, Azure, NoSql database MongoDB preferred, github

• Providing leadership for all technical initiatives taken up by the business operations team, specifically
• Analysing tech landscape and propose improvements / alternatives
• Work on next gen technology
• Workflow tools and Automation
• Building POCs / technology wireframes
• Evaluation of external tools / software and vendors
• Crowdsourcing initiatives

Qualifications:

• B. Tech. / B. E. / M. Tech. / M. S. in Computer Science or relevant discipline
• 10+ years of experience in design and development of highly scalable distributed applications and platforms.
• Hands on experience in Microservices, RESTful webservices development in Java/NodeJS(SpringBoot, Dropwizard or equivalent framework) and opensource technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture, Microservice Architecture, and related stacks (Service Registry, ELK / Splunk, service registry, VMs, etc. ) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc. )
• Should have played the role of a Technical Architect/Lead, preferably in retail / ecommerce
• Demonstrable Experience building a Code, Deploy, Run pipeline using DevOps best practices by leveraging the best available CI/CD/CT tools.
• Mentoring/coaching Senior staff engineers and other Engineers.
• Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns, and configurations tools for faster development.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Preferred qualifications

• Master s degree or higher in CS
• Large scale implementation of distributed systems in retail domain
• Consulting experience in technology architecture and implementation a plus
