Role Overview-
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Modern Trade Manager to oversee and enhance our presence in the modern trade channel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and growing modern trade accounts, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the modern trade segment.
Negotiate annual contracts, trade terms, and promotional plans with modern trade partners.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and challenges.
Promotions and Campaigns:
Plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design impactful trade campaigns.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, logistics, and marketing to ensure timely execution of plans.
Provide training and guidance to field sales teams for better execution in stores.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics, and consumer behavior to adapt strategies.
Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports to senior management.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of the modern trade landscape in India.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting tools.
Leadership abilities to manage teams and influence stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience of at least 5 years in managing modern trade accounts.
