Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the company s Health and Safety policy.
• To identify and execute CAPEX projects which give maximum ROI (exception being HSE, mandatory, customer-specific requirements).
• Identification of the supplier, negotiating, and finalizing the supplier for all projects (Internal & CAPEX) and submission of the projects (with total project cost including return on investments, payback period) to the management and execute the projects after the necessary approvals are obtained.
• To enter into agreements with the supplier before projects are started.
• To ensure that all legal compliances are followed.
• Identify & execute internal projects on process improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvements, Health & Safety, and plant layout.
• Improve vendor performance on QCD through vendor development/alternate vendor identification with regard to machines.
• Ensure handed-over projects are monitored, supported till ROI period.
• Carry out repairs & maintenance related to infrastructure (civil activities).
• Drafting standards and Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T).
• Daily manpower allocation for the projects, monitoring the progress, and ensuring that the project is completed on time.
• Material planning in coordination with the purchase department.
• IMS recording and maintaining project documents.
• New product & project development.
• Maintenance of all project-related documents & coordinating with the finance department for all bill processing.

Positional Requirements Functional:

• B. E. Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Pro-E CREO / AutoCAD software.

Job Description:

• Must have experience in handling projects independently & capital equipment purchases.
• Knowledge on M3 Infor.
• Computer literacy.
