Offshore Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for an Offshore Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help maintain and improve the reliability and performance of our cloud-based and on-premises services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Automate tasks and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to assess platform health.
• Create dashboards in AppDynamics and handle application-related issues.
• Work with ServiceNow to quickly triage and resolve incidents.
• Ensure smooth communication and coordination with the onshore team and clients .
• Be available to work during Mayo Clinic overnight hours (normal offshore work hours).

Required Technical Skills:

• Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform .
• Scripting Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell .
• DevOps CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) .
• Monitoring Logging Tools: Experience with Grafana, AppDynamics, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace .
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Concepts:
  • SLI (Service Level Indicator), SLO (Service Level Objective), SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Error Budget, MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
  • Golden Signals of Monitoring
