Key Responsibilities: Business Development Manager

1. Business Development Strategy Execution:

  • Collaborate with regional and centre managers to craft and implement region-specific business development strategies.
  • Focus outreach efforts on high-potential local areas such as tech parks, residential complexes, and local offices.
  • Design and execute tailored programs targeting institutions, enterprises, and individuals to drive awareness and adoption of our programs.

2. Lead Generation Market Penetration:

  • Target tech parks, corporate hubs, and other business districts to generate leads for upskilling and educational programs.
  • Conduct outreach campaigns in residential areas and gated communities to attract prospective learners.
  • Build connections with local influencers and community groups to amplify brand presence.

3. Institutional Partnerships:

  • Develop relationships with universities, colleges, and schools to promote our educational offerings.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the education sector to explore partnership opportunities.

4. Corporate Outreach:

  • Identify and engage potential corporate clients interested in upskilling their workforce.
  • Pitch customized corporate learning solutions and collaborate with HR teams to design training packages.

5. BTL Marketing Activities:

  • Plan and execute Below-The-Line (BTL) marketing efforts, including workshops, seminars, webinars, and pop-up events.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, job expos, and community gatherings to foster connections and enhance visibility.

6. Lead Qualification Conversion:

  • Qualify leads generated from outreach initiatives based on their needs and readiness to enrol.
  • Offer personalized consultations to guide prospects through program options and the enrollment process.

7. Market Research Feedback:

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.
  • Gather customer feedback to share with marketing and product teams to refine program offerings.

8. Reporting Performance Tracking:

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities using CRM tools.
  • Report key metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: 7 8 years in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in education, ed-tech, or corporate training.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the study abroad and professional upskilling markets.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques is a plus.
