SAP Consultant (ABAP,EWM)

SAP ABAP Development for EWM:

• Develop and enhance SAP EWM functionalities using ABAP, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Implement custom developments in EWM RF (Radio Frequency) screens , warehouse monitor enhancements, and post-processing frameworks (PPF).
• Work with ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) to build scalable and efficient solutions.
• Develop custom SAP EWM reports using ALV, CDS Views, and Fiori-based UI5 applications .

EWM Enhancements & Process Optimization:

• Customize EWM inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes using user exits, BADIs, and enhancement spots.
• Configure and extend warehouse process types, handling units, and transportation units.
• Work on decentralized EWM integrations with SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems.
• Optimize warehouse performance through event-driven architecture, queuing mechanisms, and background jobs .

Integration & Interfaces:

• Develop and support IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services for seamless integration with external logistics partners and warehouse automation systems.
• Implement and troubleshoot EWM-ERP integration for seamless data exchange.
• Develop and enhance warehouse automation interfaces for barcode scanners, conveyor systems, and robotics.

Debugging, Troubleshooting & Support:

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve performance issues related to SAP EWM transactions.
• Debug complex programs and fix issues in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, goods movements, and slotting.
• Collaborate with functional EWM consultants and warehouse operations teams to resolve system-related challenges.

Documentation & Collaboration:

• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and testing plans.
• Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and key users to translate warehouse requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer for EWM developments.
