We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 5 to 12 years of experience in customizing and developing various ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow's scripting, integrations, and application development, and will be proficient in both client-side and server-side scripting. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions, as well as supporting integrations with external systems.

Key Responsibilities :
Customization and Development :
- Customize out-of-the-box ServiceNow applications to meet the specific needs of the organization.
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications within the scoped environment.
- Write efficient and reusable code for implementing ServiceNow features and solutions using ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
- Create custom modules, forms, and workflows to enhance the functionality of ServiceNow.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow Service Catalogs and Service Portal as per requirements.
Scripting Expertise :
- Expertise in client-side scripting (e.g., Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions) to enhance the user experience and automate processes on the front end.
- Extensive knowledge of server-side scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Access Control Rules) to ensure efficient server-side operations.
- Use advanced scripting to implement business logic, automation, and workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex scripting issues, optimizing for performance and best practices.
Integrations :
- Lead and support integration efforts using various ServiceNow integration technologies, including REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, MID Server Integrations, and other integration methods.
- Ensure seamless integration between ServiceNow and external systems or databases.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and REST/SOAP connectors to connect ServiceNow with third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide solutions to ensure the integrity of data exchange between ServiceNow and external systems.
Flow Designer :
- Design, implement, and manage Flow Designer to automate business processes and improve operational efficiencies.
- Develop Flow Logic, Actions, and Data Lookup to streamline workflows and ensure they align with business requirements.
- Implement Approvals, Notifications, and Record Updates using Flow Designer to automate critical processes and tasks.
Best Practices and Quality Assurance :
- Maintain high standards for coding quality, system configuration, and documentation.
- Ensure ServiceNow best practices are followed during development and customization.
- Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and share best practices for ServiceNow development.
Performance and Optimization :
- Monitor the performance of ServiceNow applications and scripts to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Perform code optimizations to reduce technical debt and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in workflows, integrations, or business processes.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Experience : Minimum of 5-12 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 5 years focused on advanced customization and application development within the ServiceNow platform.
- Scripting Proficiency : Expert-level proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, including both client-side and server-side scripting.
- ServiceNow Application Development : Hands-on experience in developing custom applications, implementing Service Catalogs, and configuring ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, etc.
- Integrations : Strong background in ServiceNow integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP, MID Server), including the ability to integrate third-party systems and applications with ServiceNow.
- Flow Designer and Automation : Extensive experience with Flow Designer, creating and managing automated workflows, actions, and tasks in ServiceNow.
- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills and a strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to ServiceNow functionality, scripting, and integrations.
- Collaboration : Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Certifications : ServiceNow certifications (such as Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operations Management), ServiceNow ITSM, and ServiceNow CSM (Customer Service Management) modules.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Exposure to DevOps practices in the context of ServiceNow development
