SAP Basis / HANA Consultant - Support & Implementation

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Provide technical support and maintenance for SAP systems, including installation, upgrades, configuration, and Manage and optimize SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.

- Utilize SAP Solution Manager for incident management, change management, and service level management.

- Implement and maintain best practices for focused run and security operations within SAP environments.

- Adhere to ITIL standards and processes for IT service management.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure efficient SAP system delivery.

- Challenge service providers and drive improvements in delivery quality.

- Monitor and ensure high levels of operational excellence and governance within SAP environments.

- Service Quality : Monitor the quality of service provided by third-party vendors (infomercials).

- Compliance : Ensure compliance with contracted service levels and adherence to expected service standards.

- Drive continuous improvement in service quality, processes, and governance.

Qualifications :

- 5-10 years of experience in SAP Basis and HANA administration.

- Strong technical expertise in SAP systems and HANA databases.

- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and standards.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and its modules.

- Understanding of focused run and security concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Considerations :

- Experience with cloud-based SAP environments (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform) would be a plus.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., ABAP, Python) is beneficial.

- A strong understanding of business processes and requirements is helpful.
