Job Description :

RapidData Technologies is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, managing, and optimizing deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud-based environments to ensure seamless software delivery and operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

- Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ensure scalability, security, and high availability.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.

- Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Ensure security best practices in DevOps processes, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and system performance.

- Implement logging and monitoring solutions using ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.

- Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or system administration.

- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.

- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch).

- Familiarity with networking, security, and firewall configurations in cloud environments.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps or Kubernetes.

- Experience in serverless computing and microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases).
