EazyDiner - DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (2-5 yrs)

As a DevOps Engineer at EazyDiner, you will play a crucial role in improving our software development and deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration between development and operations teams. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to streamline our development lifecycle, automate infrastructure deployment, and optimize system performance.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate software delivery and deployment processes.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to manage cloud resources efficiently and reliably.

- Implement GitOps principles using ArgoCD to manage Kubernetes applications and ensure declarative configuration and application delivery.

- Manage and monitor cloud-based infrastructure (e. g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues.

- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Continuously evaluate and implement DevOps best practices, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams on DevOps-related matters.

- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues.

- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Contribute to the documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e. g., Python, Shell, Ruby).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e. g., GitLab CI/CD).

- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform.

- Experience with GitOps principles and tools, such as ArgoCD.

- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (e. g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Certification in relevant technologies (e. g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of security best practices and tools.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and principles.
