Position Title : Scrum Master/Delivery Manager.
We are seeking an experienced Resource Manager/Project Manager/Scrum.
- Master/Delivery Manager to join our dynamic IT team.
- This role is critical in managing bench resources and ensuring proper project allocation to maximize efficiency, meet client demands, and align with business goals.
- The ideal candidate will be skilled in both Agile and traditional project management methodologies and possess the ability to manage teams, projects, and resources efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Bench Resource Management.
- Handle the allocation and utilization of bench resources, ensuring that they are assigned to projects based on skills, availability, and project needs.
- Oversee bench resources to ensure timely project allocation.
Resource Management :
- Collaborate with HR and recruitment teams to identify skill gaps and onboard necessary talent.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of team skills, project requirements, and available resources to facilitate optimal project assignments.
Project Allocation & Delivery :
- Work closely with project teams and leadership to identify upcoming project requirements, matching resources accordingly to optimize delivery timelines.
- Ensure the right allocation of resources to projects based on skills, availability, and business priorities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand project demands and timelines.
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and resource utilization to meet client expectations.
- Balance workloads across teams, ensuring resource efficiency and reducing bench time.
Scrum Master Duties :
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and manage Kanban boards to ensure smooth project flow and task completion.
- Remove impediments and provide leadership to ensure smooth delivery of Agile projects.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, ensuring continuous improvement in team performance.
Stakeholder Management :
- Communicate project statuses and resource needs to senior leadership and clients.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand business priorities and adjust resource allocation as needed.
- Manage expectations on delivery timelines and project outcomes.
Performance Monitoring :
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource utilization and project efficiency.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and supporting professional development.
Process Improvement :
- Identify opportunities for improving resource allocation processes and project management methodologies.
- Implement best practices in delivery management, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Training & Upskilling: Identify opportunities for the professional development of bench resources, enabling skill enhancement for future project demands.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in resource allocation or project delivery timelines and implement mitigation strategies.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resource allocation and delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Performance Development: Work closely with bench talent to identify skill gaps, craft. individualized development plans, and support career progression within the organization.
Rapid Project Mobilization: Ensure resource onboarding and project deployment aren smooth and time-efficient, allowing projects to hit the ground running without delays.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between project needs and available resources.
Adaptable Methodology: Foster a hybrid approach by integrating Scrum and Kanban where necessary, keeping our teams flexible and adaptable to unique client challenges.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Business and PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications is required.
- 5+ years of Proven experience in resource management, project management,scrum, or delivery management within an IT organization.
- Proven experience in managing bench resources and complex resource allocation.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in IT project management and delivery in an Agile environment.
Skills & Competencies :
- Strong ability to multitask and manage various priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g, Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
- Effective collaboration and team-building skills
