Manager/Senior Manager - Tool Design

Role & responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Experienced in Development of new Tools based on the specifications.

✔ To ensure the process Robustness

✔ Experience in Calculating and Improving the machine cycle time.

✔ Should handle Manufacturing Technology up-gradation / Improvements projects.

✔ Experience in Design and update the Control Plan on time to time.

✔ Hands on Experience in reducing the setup time for processes.

✔ To approve Tool Design / Drawings / Tool Inspection reports

✔ To approve necessary expenditure for Tool procurement and development

✔ To approve new / amended Purchase Orders for Tooling

✔ Hands on Experience in CAD / Creo

Responsibilities:

✔ To ensure the Supplier Performance evaluation and rating

✔ To ensure the timely delivery of necessary Tools to concern facility

✔ To Monitor and update the Procedures and Documents related to the Tool Management

process.

✔ To approve the deviations in the Tool development process.

✔ To approve the Drawing release notes for Tool Management.

✔ To recommend the process of Addition / Deletion of vendor for Tool Management

✔ To maintain the proper list of Approved supplier / Vendor

✔ To release the Trial orders and collecting the Feedback from Quality and MFD functions

before moving to production

✔ To maintain a proper Tool room Data base

✔ To ensure installed capacity to meet the demand from all facilities

✔ To Drive training initiatives to upgrade the competencies of the team
