Software Tech Lead

Role purpose :

A key part of our strategy at Randstad is "tech and touch", ensuring that experiences for our clients, candidates and our employees are positive and enabled through the use of technology. We want you to join our growing software development team to design and implement web software in collaboration with team mates and other stakeholders. You will bring insight and vision of web development and cloud technologies, in order to boost our transition to a cloud environment and deliver great user experiences to our customers and internal users. We'd like you to coach other developers and continuously help improve team productivity, code quality, tools and technology adoption.

Experience and Requirements :

1. 7-9 Years of Experience in Software Development

2. 7-9 Years of Expertise in AWS, .Net , Angular, Javascript.

3. Strong expertise into software Development, Deployment and Scalability

4. Strong expertise into Windows, OS.

5. Strong knowledge of Integrations Such as REST API , C#, Angular and strong knowledge of software Architecture .

Main accountabilities :

The main accountability areas for this position are:

- Designs, sizes and builds a functional and technical system architecture based on business needs and drivers

- Designs and sizes third-party integrations, being the technical point of contact

- Leads delivery team, ensuring teamwork, commitment and controlling progress

- Is responsible for the delivery, on each sprint and at the end of the release, of a viable and scalable solution

- Is responsible for solution non-functional requirements (like solution performance, scalability, and security) Guarantees the quality procedures and Supports feature delivery demos

- Manages solution staging life-cycle, conducting QA and production deployments and supporting overall solution rollout procedures

- Provide mentoring or guidance to the team.

- Collaborate with team members to identify strengths and weaknesses of applications and improve upon them.

- Defining and implementing design standards to promote a consistent and high quality user experience for our users.

- Evaluating feedback from internal stakeholders and our customers, and advising how to satisfy requirements and maximise the user experience.

- Advising on and implementing development process automation for code builds, tests and deployments

- Assist with work planning requirements and provide input on estimation of task effort.

- Liaising with team mates to promote code quality and software design best practice.

- Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports.

- Balancing design principles and technology standards with product timelines and customer specific requirements.

- Lead a team in the development, coding, and delivery of new software products and applications.

- Perform product and customer research and develop improvement strategies based on findings.

- Collaborate with team members to identify strengths and weaknesses of applications and improve upon them.

- Evaluate functionality of products and remediate any lapse in functionality.

Applying coding and design conventions and standards :

- Promote a consistent and high quality experience for end users and service consumers

- Development back end and front end modules consistent with agreed standards and best practices collaborating with colleagues during agile ceremonies and other team meetings

- Participate in agile ceremonies, discussions, decision making, and planning sessions as required

- Other project duties as and when required

Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports and development issues :

- Respond promptly to issues escalated to development team.

- Investigate and troubleshoot bugs and issues using problem-solving tools, such as Splunk, Sumo Logic and other development tools.

- Implement timely bug fixes in java script or .net platforms, as appropriate
