Backend Engineer - Golang & Java (Hyderabad)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement backend services using Golang and Java.

- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Build and maintain highly scalable and performant microservices architectures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop and implement unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Leverage DevOps practices to automate build, deployment, and testing processes (CI/CD).

- Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Golang, Java, cloud technologies, and backend development best practices.

Qualifications :

- 3-8 years of experience in backend software development.

- Proficiency in Golang and experience with Golang development frameworks.

- Working experience with Java and familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js is a plus.

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design principles.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) including DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and Postgres Aurora.

- Experience with building, operating, and maintaining backend services.

- Experience implementing operational excellence practices using tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, Kibana, and PagerDuty.

- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (unit testing, design patterns, clean code principles).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies (AWS experience a plus).

- Experience with infrastructure provisioning and management using cloud platforms.

- Experience with API Gateway, VPCs, CDNs, Kafka/MKS, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
