Job Summary:

We seek a results-driven manager responsible for creating and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and retail shop lease agreements. The primary objective is to ensure accuracy, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, maintain the documents with confidentiality, and adhere to company policies.

Job Description: Responsibilities and Duties

• Review and draft rental lease agreements and analyze the progress of outstanding litigation, ensuring that they comply with all statutory or legal requirements.
• Assess legal implications and escalate to senior managements attention and amend agreements.
• Organize and maintain legal documents including Vendor Contracts, legal correspondence, and other official records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
• Maintain all executed rental documents and share them with higher officials whenever required.
• Draft the responses to legal notices, and manage administrative tasks related to legal disputes.
• Co-ordinating with Landlords for collecting respective documents and preparing rental agreements.
• Responsible for Handling documents related to Land Acquisition, MOU/LOI and up to the handover.
• Assisting in Liasioning for Government approvals and getting Legal documents registered(Trade License etc).
• Handling of Notices from Government departments, Courts etc.
• Review and provide legal advice on Insurance, MOUs, Contracts, and Airport bidding documents.
• Review ongoing cases and handle them accordingly on consulting with the management.
• Assist in conducting legal research on matters related to intellectual property, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and other relevant areas.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the organization's operations.
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
• Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management, especially on rental management.
• Provide legal assistance in cases of any material breach of non-negotiable terms and conditions for termination of agreement.
• Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing measures to minimize legal exposure.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

• 10 -15 years of relevant experience in Legal Documentation and preparing agreements.
• Strong understanding of Agreement-related legislations and regulations related to the retail industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law or any other relevant degree.
