Job Description
Rama Super Speciality Hospital is looking for Junior Bio - medical engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- As a Junior Bio-Medical Engineer, you will assist in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of medical equipment and systems used in healthcare facilities
- You will work under the supervision of senior engineers and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the optimal performance and safety of medical devices
- Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on medical equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in medical devices and systems
- Collaborate with vendors and service technicians for complex repairs
- Design and Development:Assist in the design and development of new medical equipment or improvements to existing systems
- Create technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for medical devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Quality Assurance:Conduct quality assurance tests on medical equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
- Participate in the validation and verification of medical devices according to regulatory requirements
- Training and Support:Provide training to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Offer technical support to healthcare professionals regarding equipment-related issues
- Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards (eg, FDA regulations, ISO standards) and ensure compliance in all engineering activities
- Collaboration:Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to understand their needs and provide engineering solutions
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments within the healthcare facility
