Job Description:
Rama University is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Professor with 2 to 5 years of experience in education, training students, and performing academic-related activities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, student development, and research, with a strong commitment to delivering quality education at the university level.
The Assistant Professor will actively contribute to the academic excellence of the university by engaging in lectures, student mentoring, curriculum development, and participating in departmental and university-wide activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Instruction: Deliver engaging and well-structured lectures, tutorials, and seminars in your area of expertise. Ensure that course material is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with the academic goals of the department and university.
• Student Engagement & Mentorship: Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering an interactive learning environment. Address student queries, provide feedback on assignments, and guide research projects or internships.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with other faculty members to design and update curricula, syllabi, and course materials. Ensure that academic content is comprehensive and supports students' professional development.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Develop and administer assignments, quizzes, exams, and projects. Provide timely, constructive feedback to students on their academic performance.
• Research & Publications: Conduct research in your area of expertise and actively contribute to the body of knowledge. Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and other academic platforms.
• Academic Administration: Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and university activities. Assist with accreditation, report preparation, and maintaining departmental records.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and methods in education. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
• Collaborative Initiatives: Engage in interdisciplinary academic and research activities. Foster collaborations with other departments and external organizations to enhance the university's academic reputation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of teaching experience at the university or college level. Experience in training students and carrying out professor-related activities is essential.
• Educational Qualification: A Masters or Ph.D. in a relevant field from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree.
• Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge and teaching experience in one or more of the university's academic programs (Engineering, Management, Sciences, Humanities, etc.).
• Teaching Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Passion for teaching and student development.
• Research: Proven experience in conducting research, publishing academic papers, and contributing to the academic community.
• Technology Skills: Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching (Learning Management Systems, presentation software, etc.).
• Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
