Job Title: Electrician

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment critical to the distillation and production process. Including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation, and ensuring all electrical components of the distillery operations are in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components throughout the distillery, including motors, controls, heating systems, lighting, and power supply systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and ensure minimal downtime in production.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions, determine the source, and take corrective action to restore operations quickly.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to ensure reliability and longevity.
• Replace worn-out or faulty electrical parts and components before failure occurs.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including those related to electrical systems and hazardous environments (e.g., explosive areas in the distillery).
• Maintain electrical systems in accordance with local regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent electrical hazards.
• Respond to emergency electrical outages, failures, or accidents promptly and safely.

Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program in electrical work.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in the distillery or food and beverage industry is a plus.
