JOB DESCRIPTION

Rain Cements, a thirty-seven-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement, is seeking an experienced Sr.Engineer - Electrical (Solar -5.6MW) who is having good experience in Ground Mount Solar Power Plants and its O&M activities for our integrated (5.6MW) solar power plant located at.

Unit- 1 Ramapuram, Mellacheruvu (M), Suryapet (D), Telangana 508246

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in Solar maintenance and operations, maintenance of Inverters, Transformer, HT Panel & Switchgear. Daily monitoring Weather Monitoring system (WMS), especially in the cement manufacturing industry, which has adopted solar plants. Additionally, the candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills.

Role & responsibilities

• A Very good strong experience in operations & maintenance of Inverters, Transformer energy, String Voltages/Currents/Power on SCADA and proper utilization of solar power in Plant and colony.
• To develop, define and dimension technically and economically feasible applications by performing preliminary engineering/design, project metering and measurements of critical parameters
• Good experience in string checking, Identification of problems, troubleshooting and Rectification.
• Overall responsibility and accountability for part production and quality
• Communication / follow up with Equipment OEMs.
• Generation / preparation / Download of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports, Plant PR, Low performance Inverters analysis
• Good experience on Documentation
• Inverters communication checking & SPDs replacements
• Training of manpower for proper maintenance and operation of the plant.

Preferred candidate profile

• BTech / B.E in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Ground Mount Solar Power Plants O&M Activities
• Prior experience in managing solar power plants and its operation and maintenance activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Superb time management and organization skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
• Fluency in Telugu and English
