Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to enhance supplier quality, cost-effectiveness, and service levels.
- Lead category management efforts, including the preparation and execution of RFIs and RFPs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select suppliers and negotiate contracts aligned with organizational needs.
- Actively research industry trends to optimize procurement processes and leverage best practices.
- Conduct supplier negotiations and develop detailed strategic plans to meet operational goals.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance through scorecards and key performance indicators.
- Analyze spending data to identify cost-reduction opportunities and create actionable plans.
- Implement supplier management programs, including performance tracking and improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance to establish and monitor forecasts, budgets, and cost-saving targets.
- Drive the consolidation of spend across business units to achieve synergies and cost efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements while maintaining supplier relationships.
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and strategic outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, and purchasing experience.
- Proven experience managing HR, Marketing, and IT spend categories.
- Hands-on experience in supplier negotiations and sourcing strategy development.
- Familiarity with procurement tools like Coupa and Oracle software.
