Lead Engineer

R Systems International is looking for, an experienced Mobile Engineer with native development expertise in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android). You will bring a strong understanding of design principles like MVVM for Android or MVC for iOS, along with experience in working with RESTful services, APIs, and JSON parsing. You will have a solid grasp of best practices such as Single Responsibility and Dependency Injection, and experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and using Git and JIRA. Additionally, you should be comfortable with CI/CD processes and have a strong focus on writing clean, maintainable code while adhering to coding standards.

• Analyze requirements and collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design software solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure requirements traceability from definition to implementation.
• Participate in peer reviews and pull requests to ensure high-quality software.
• Follow coding standards and best practices to create reusable and maintainable code.
• Write and maintain unit tests for your code.
• Interface with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for ticket and issue management.
• Develop complex views that interact with network and data layers.
• Contribute to improvements and additions to the network and data layers.
• Lead and execute large refactors or design improvements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact across multiple scrum teams, collaborating with product owners, front-end, middleware, DevOps, and firmware teams.
• Participate in technical assessments, scoping, and management of code base changes based on new business requirements or product enhancements.
• Estimate work, assist in project planning, and report progress to management.
• Present software concepts, designs, and code in design review forums.
• Contribute to technical discussions and knowledge sharing within the team and across teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key software application features, frameworks, and components relevant to the platform.
