Node.js Developer (3-4 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and supporting frameworks (NestJS, Express, Passport, JWT, pg, pg-promise).

- Design and implement RESTful web APIs.

- Write code using TypeScript.

- Implement real-time communication using WebSockets.

- Utilize process managers like Cluster and PM2 for production deployments.

- Integrate with in-memory databases (IMDBs) with Node.js.

- Understand and effectively handle asynchronous programming in Node.js, including its quirks and workarounds.

- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

- Implement security and data protection measures.

- (Good to have) Experience with handling bulk data, images, and videos.

- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Solid understanding of Node.js and its core modules.

- Experience with relevant Node.js frameworks (NestJS, Express, Passport, JWT, pg, pg-promise).

- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.

- Experience with WebSockets for real-time communication.

- Familiarity with process management tools like Cluster and PM2.

- Experience integrating with IMDBs.

- Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its challenges.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to write unit and integration tests.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience handling bulk data, images, and videos.

- Knowledge of security best practices for web applications.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
