Job Summary :

Qentelli is seeking an experienced Tosca Automation Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in test automation, particularly in web applications and API automation, to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tosca automation tool, including Tosca AS1, AS2, AE1, AE2, TDS, and TQL certifications.

You will be responsible for planning, designing, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation scripts, while managing small project teams.

Experience with SAP applications is a plus.

This role requires a deep understanding of automation frameworks and a strong focus on best practices and continuous testing/integration.

Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and execute test automation scripts using Tosca for web applications and APIs.

- Ensure the implementation of automation scripts is aligned with the overall testing strategy and business requirements.

- Develop and maintain custom controls within Tosca, ensuring scalability and reusability of test automation assets.

Planning and Execution :

- Plan and lead automation initiatives for web-based and API testing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

- Execute automated test scripts, collect and analyze results, and publish detailed test reports.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into continuous integration and continuous testing processes.

Team Leadership and Coaching :

- Manage small teams of automation testers, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure effective execution of tasks.

- Convey Tricentis best practices and guidelines to team members to ensure high-quality test automation and adherence to industry standards.

Integration and Maintenance :

- Implement and manage continuous testing and integration processes for automation projects.

- Troubleshoot issues related to Tosca automation and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.

- Perform regular maintenance and updates of test automation scripts to ensure compatibility with new releases and application changes.

Framework Development and Optimization :

- Design and develop automation frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of test automation efforts.

- Leverage Tosca features to optimize test execution and reporting, reducing the overall testing cycle time.

SAP Automation (Good to Have) :

- Contribute to the automation of SAP applications, if applicable, utilizing Tosca to enhance test coverage for SAP environments.

Qualifications, Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on Tosca automation for web applications and APIs.

- Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Tosca automation scripts.

- Proven ability to plan, deploy, and troubleshoot Tosca-based automation projects.

- Hands-on experience with Tosca AS1, AS2, AE1, AE2, TDS, and TQL certifications.

- Strong understanding and practical experience in implementing Tosca-related automation frameworks.

- Experience in continuous testing and integration practices and tools.

- Ability to manage small teams, provide leadership, and mentor junior automation testers.

- Experience in executing test scripts and publishing test reports.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve automation issues.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience in automating SAP applications using Tosca.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile environments.

- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and integration with automation tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Experience in testing microservices and web services (REST, SOAP) using Tosca or other tools.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication skills to convey technical details and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
