Position Overview:
Project Planner who must have experienced in making manual project planning, reporting automations to improvise the existing reports.
Planner should be capable of understanding and utilizing S-Curves and K-Values which are essential for effective project management.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in project management and planning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Planner will work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to schedules and project plans.
- Identify potential project delays and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in resource allocation and management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Support the preparation of project documentation and contractual deliverables.
Technical Competency:
- Project Scheduling: Proficient in developing and managing detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
- Project Management: Solid understanding of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and resource management.
- EPC Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the engineering, procurement, and construction processes and terminology.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in project management software like S-curve, K Value etc.
Soft Skills :
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in schedules, reports, and documentation.
Education Background:
- BachelorDegree: A bachelordegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
