Job Description
- Process Engineer in Upstream Oil Gas process plant. Involved in remote monitoring, Root cause analysis, Simulation studies , three phase separation, sweetening, dehydration and well head operations during normal, emergency, start-up shutdown.
- Active participation in development of HAZID, PSSR, HAZOP, SOP and Process Safety Time calculation.
- Prepare and review PFD, PID , Heat and Mass Balance calculations, Flare Load calculations and flare sys design Fuel gas network, study, CW network study air pollutants control
- Preparation of process parameters in Equipment datasheets
- Experience of risk studies and Brainstorming on Process units involving consequences and safeguards based on the nature of Risk and associated response systems.
- Analysis, optimization and troubleshooting of Oil Gas process plant equipment and machines.
- Preparation and review of Process datasheets of equipment such as Separators, Heat exchangers, sizing of PSVand Control Valves.
- Procedures for Testing and commissioning of Process Plants including Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test, chemical cleaning and their method statements.
- Requirements and Types of Insulation and associated process calculations
- Execution of various debottlenecking projects and expansion studies.
- Participated in MOC studies and recommendations
Work Experience
- Chemical engineering or equivalent degree is required.
- 8-12 yearsexperience with upstream / refining technology or similar chemical engineering process background is required.
- Good understanding of process unit operations and process calculations, including heat exchanger principles, distillation principles, fluid flow principles, and reaction principles, is a plus.
- Working experience with HYSYS and HTRI is an advantage
- Must have good technical communication skills. This includes ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with unit engineers to understand their issues and problems and communicate solutions.
