AWS Cloud Architect

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and design/build cost-efficient, scalable AWS cloud-based solutions.
• Create plans, architecture, design, and implementation for cloud solutions.
• Responsible for adopting new cloud services and features for cloud solutions and operations.
• Cloud migration assessment and migration of workloads to cloud.
• Ensuring data security and compliance.
• Ensuring governance of cloud environment through policies.
• Designing and ensuring monitoring and observability for the cloud environment.
• Drive DevSecOps practices for solutions.
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
• Optimize solutions for performance and cost.
• Conduct Technical Reviews/ Quality reviews.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• At least 6+ years of relevant experience AWS cloud platform.
• Must have Solution Architect Professional certification in AWS.
• Strong knowledge in cloud native architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in architecting and designing microservices based solutions.
• Good knowledge in Compute, Networking and Storage options available in AWS Cloud (VPC, EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, EFS, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, S3 etc)
• Good knowledge in SQL and NoSQL database technologies available in AWS platform (DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora, Athena etc).
• Good knowledge in processing big data in cloud.
• Knowledge in AWS Application Migration Services and experience in setting up migration process (discovery, setup, migration).
• Good knowledge in application security, PKI, Secrets Management, Identity Management, Authentication and Authorization (IAM, OAuth, OpenID).
• Good Knowledge in network security in cloud environment (Firewall, Segmentation, Security Groups, NACLs, WAF etc)
• Strong understanding of data security and governance policies.
• Experience in designing secure DevOps pipelines for continuous delivery, deployment and monitoring.
• Proficiency in any of the programming languages; Java.
