Job Description
Responsibilities
- Writing efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable code using Java.
- Upgrade the code base to latest Java version and making code Linux and Windows compatible
- Develop back-end and front-end functionalities to improve the user experience of software.
- Develop back-end components to improve the responsiveness and overall performance of the application
- Test and debug programs and improve the functionality of existing systems and develop Automated testing scripts
- Contribute to the existing documentation and adapt it based on product/program updates and user feedback
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
- At least 5+ years of experience in building software applications in Java and in-depth understanding of OOP
- Knowledge of testing and debugging software issues
- Knowledge of Java libraries (Core Java libraries, Apache batik, swing etc)
- Designing and developing applications using the Java SE platform
- Good understanding of relational databases, Spring Boot
- Familiarity with tools like Github, build tool Gradle
- Good written and oral communication skills
