Job Description
- Independent handling of Projects and deliverables and meeting the Quality and schedule is essential.
- Preparation of Instrument Design and Detailed Engineering deliverables like Index, Instrument I/O list. Preparation of datasheet, JB interconnection wiring diagram, Loop diagram, Cable Schedule, Instrument Location Plan, Cable & Conduit tray routing, Instrument Hookup drawings. MTO, PLC layout & IO Schedule.
- Design & Sizing calculation of Orifice, Venturi, Control valve and Flow nozzle etc.
- Review vendor and existing drawings for design compliance.
- Monitor/supervise the work of junior executors and assist with mentorship and training.
- Review and verification of inputs as per the project requirement.
- Knowledge and experience of applying codes and international standards
- P&ID review with process team & Piping Team, updating necessary changes.
- Knowledge of various electrical Interface components including MCCs, PLC equipment panels and motors.
- Prepare engineering QC document as per company and client standards.
- Interface with the other engineering disciplines to ensure a coordinated design and that project engineering deliverables are completed.
- Provide and demonstrate leadership in accordance with Environment Health and Safety program to establishing a strong safety culture within the organization and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Knowledge and Skill in SIL study & Hazardous area classification and selection of equipment.
Work Experience
- Very good knowledge about PLC\S, SCADA and other communication Equipment and related Wiring Methods.
- Specify and clarify vendor queries with field instruments including electronic and pneumatic transmitters, switches, meter-runs, analyzers, control valves and ESD valves.
- Requires a broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved.
- DCS, ESD, FGS, Custody metering, Loading and unloading and Storage tank Instrumentation.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Smart plant Instrumentation (Intools) software.
- Excellent computer skills including use of engineering and computer software to complete control valve, orifice flow meter sizing.
- Good communication skills.
