Job Description
- Design, plan, and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet clients business needs and requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services, technologies, and platforms to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints and documentation to ensure consistency and alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based systems.
- Conduct performance and security assessments of cloud-based systems to identify and address any vulnerabilities or inefficiencies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and ensure adherence to architecture principles and standards.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and services to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Required skills
- 4 or more years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in one of the major Cloud Provider, Pipeline as Code (PaC), automated single click deployment, configuration management with large/mid-size application with production support
- Expertise in using public cloud platforms AWS Azure to build solutions solving business problems and making innovative use of SaaS and PaaS offerings
- Practical experience in Cloud engineering using Infra-as-code preferably Terraform, CI/CD tools such as GitLab CICD / Cloud native tools like Cloud Build.
- Ability to communicate in a DevOps environment with the team, managers, business units and stakeholders in mandatory.
- Understanding of Agile and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is strongly desired.
- Strong portfolio of cloud architecture projects and case studies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must own ability to learn fast, adapt to new technology and keep current with industry certifications.
