Job Description
Role and Responsibility
- Candidate shall be working as Developer/ Senior Developer in the Cloud applications development. This is an agile methodology-based program where the candidate shall be participating in designing, implementation and peer code reviews.
- Candidate shall be working with QuEST and QuEST customer teams in a collaborative development model.
- Application stack includes Java spring boot and Microservices on AWS platform.
- Responsibilities of the candidate shall include but not limited to
- Analyse requirements and/or specifications and translate these into software designs.
- Develop high quality software Code based on design
- Perform extensive unit and system level testing to ensure highest software quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyses, design, and ship new applications
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application/ services.
Work Experience
Must Have Skill
- Enterprise Frameworks and Systems: Spring Boot, Spring AOP, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Play, REST Services, Microservices
- Java Stack: Core Java, Java 8 features (streams, lambdas, fluent-style programming, etc. ), J2EE
- Experience in writing complex queries in SQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of AWS (SNS?SQS, RDS, S3, Elastic Search)
- Complete understanding of and rigorous approach to testing (TDD or BDD), continuous integration
