Civil & Structural Engineer

Requirement:

• Develop civil and structural drawings, models, and layouts for oil & gas facilities using AutoCAD, Tekla, PDMS, E3D, or similar software.
• Design foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, platforms, and steel structures based on engineering inputs.
• Create reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structure detailing, including rebar schedules, fabrication, and erection drawings.
• Assist in the design of roads, drainage, grading, and site development for onshore facilities.
• Ensure compliance with API, AISC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, BS, and other relevant codes.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, piping, and mechanical engineers to ensure design compatibility.
• Conduct clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of quantities (BOQ) for procurement and cost estimation.
• Provide support during construction, fabrication, and site installation.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

• Diploma / Associate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 10-20 years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, PDMS, E3D, Revit, or similar structural design software.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and steel structure detailing.
• Experience working with offshore platforms, refineries, pipelines, and LNG plants is a plus.
• Familiarity with geotechnical reports, foundation design, and structural load calculations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

G ood to have skills:

• Experience in onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
• Familiarity with fabrication, welding, and installation requirements.
• Knowledge of seismic, wind load, and blast-resistant design considerations.
