Lead Software Engineer (Frontend)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead a . NET data migration project , transitioning applications from . NET Framework 4. 8 to . NET Core 8. 0. The ideal candidate will have hands on expertise in modern front-end technologies, a strong understanding of software architecture, and experience guiding migration projects in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Frontend Development: Oversee the design and implementation of frontend components of the migration project, ensuring seamless transition from . NET Framework 4. 8 to . NET Core 8. 0.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Guide a team of frontend developers through architecture decision, based practices, code reviews, and development effort to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Application Design: Plan and design scalable, maintainable, and performant frontend applications using WPF and modern . NET Core 8. 0 frontend technologies.
• Migration Execution: Work with backend and infrastructure team to ensure smooth integration of legacy components with new frameworks while improving overall performance and functionality.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Assist in identifying and resolving issues during migration, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance code quality security and performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in frontend development with WPF, . NET Framework 4. 8, . NET Core 8. 0, and UI development practices.
• Framework Expertise: Strong working knowledge of WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and migration to . NET Core 8. 0.
• UI Frameworks: Familiarity with MVVM (Model-View-View Model) architecture, Prism, and frontend design patterns
• Modern Web Technologies: Expertise in modern web frontend technologies such as HTML5 , CSS3 , JavaScript , and frameworks like Angular and React .
• Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Git or other version control tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
