Develop in depth understanding of the brand and its application to ensure the organization s brand reflects across materials being developed and disseminated across various stakeholders.
Anchor / Support the development of brand-focused content and approach for organizational communication requirements, both print and digital.
Generating fresh design concepts, regularly re-strategizing and adapting existing content and design for stakeholder collaterals
Support production of high quality design for print as well as digital. Content direction for campaigns, program collaterals and publications.
Conducting thorough research on sector-related topics QA wants to write about
Creating, editing, and updating various forms of digital content, such as impact stories, campaign content, news articles, etc.
Coordinating with / Supporting the digital media team to create content that boost traffic
Anchoring / Supporting the operationalizing of the Schools program communication strategy and supporting regional communication plan implementation.
Maintain a content workflow and calendar, and support maintaining of archive of all content assets
Support content production and implementation of organizational events (offline and online)
Provide content support to node and function communication initiatives
Basic photography and videography-based documentation when required.
Support production for org. annual report, program report and publications
Support the development of the Q2L brand and the operationalizing of the Q2L communication strategy
Operations
Support the development of processes and guidelines for internal collaboration and work management as required
Participate in project reviews and functional reviews
Plan and track progress against monthly deliverables and goals
Relationship Management - Stakeholders (Internal and External)
Build and maintain strong relationships with state Communications Officers and designers to create smooth and efficient working, as well as to gain nuanced perspectives into program work.
Collect feedback from users, documenting good practices for content writing and challenges faced by the team to feed into the content strategy.
Liaise with colleagues on field or external vendors and/or travel to field to source compelling stories, images and videos that capture and effectively communicate the essence of our work
Reporting
Submit all the relevant reports on time. Ensure all the relevant data for the team is available well in time
Be available for regular line management meeting and the appraisal processes
Participate actively in the team meetings and review processes
Requirements
Required attributes:
Bachelors / Masters degree; Communication, Design, Journalism or similar major is a plus
2+ years of experience working with content writing for the development sector in India or with a social media agency.
Excellent English communications skills, both verbal, written and proofreading skills. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Working knowledge of graphic design. Knows to work with a basic design tool like Canva / Photoshop.
Extensive experience using Microsoft office, Google Suite [Drive, Slides, Sheets and Docs]
Experience in key digital media platforms - Website, Email marketing, and social media
Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
Openness to learn and explore new technologies
Sound understanding of media landscape - news and social
